Editorial policy
Every factual claim on this site is traceable to a source we link. Nothing is estimated, nothing is generated from memory, and corrections are made on the page with a date rather than edited away quietly.

Sourcing standard

What we do not publish
No invented ratings or scores. No review counts. No testimonials — this is a new site and it has no customer reviews to quote. No claimed testing we have not done: where we have not ridden a bike, the product card says "researched from published specs" in those words.
No invented credentials for our author. Mike M. is described exactly as what he is, and nothing more.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix it and we say so. A correction is noted on the page with the date it was made. We do not silently edit an error out of existence, because the version of this site you can trust is the one that admits when it was wrong.
Report an error through the contact page. Specs change, models get superseded, and a page that was right in September may not be in March — telling us is genuinely useful.

Dates
The "last updated" date on a page means the content changed. We do not bump a date to look fresh — it is trivially detectable and it destroys exactly the trust the date exists to build.
Independence
No brand pays for placement, position or coverage. No manufacturer reviews an article before publication. Our commercial relationships are listed in full on the affiliate disclosure, and the method behind the rankings is on how we choose.
Use of AI
Research, drafting and structuring on this site are assisted by software, and every factual claim is verified against the linked primary source before it is published. No specification, price, measurement or quotation on this site is generated rather than sourced. If we cannot source a figure, the page says the manufacturer does not publish it.
