woom 2 (GO 2) review
The bike long sold as the woom 2 is now the woom GO 2. It is a 14-inch aluminum bike at 12 lb 3 oz with a 15.5 inch minimum saddle height, two proper hand brakes, and a rear coaster brake fitted to meet a CPSC requirement at this size.

Naming first: woom renamed its range, so the 14-inch previously sold as the woom 2 is now listed as the woom GO 2. Same position in the lineup. We have not ridden it; everything below is woom's published spec plus arithmetic.

At 12.2 lb against a 35.1 lb four-year-old, this bike is 35% of its rider. The mass-market 16-inch alternative at 21.16 lb is 60%. That is the entire case for spending more.
The coaster brake question
The GO 2 has two independently operated mini V-brakes — and woom states it also ships with a coaster brake fitted, as a CPSC requirement at this size. So backpedaling does stop the bike out of the box.

Fit: the 3.8 inch runway
15.5 to 19.3 inches is under four inches of saddle travel. For a three-year-old that is comfortably a year and probably two; for a tall four-year-old it may be one season before the 16-inch conversation starts. Compare it against the Prevelo Alpha One, which publishes 14.75 to 25.2 inches — a far longer runway on the same wheel size.
